She holds licenses in Property & Casualty, Life, Health, Medicare, and Long-Term Care. For Mandy, insurance has never just been about policies – it’s about people. She is passionate about helping families and business owners feel secure, informed, and confident about their coverage. Her decades of experience allow her to guide clients through important decisions with clarity, honesty, and genuine care. Mandy has deep roots in Caldwell County, where she raised her three children. With her office located in Catawba County, she has built strong relationships and meaningful connections throughout the community. She values serving her neighbors and takes pride in being a trusted local resource. Outside of work, Mandy enjoys cooking, canning, and gardening – activities that reflect her love of family, hard work, and creating something lasting.

Hi everyone! My name is Keyana Ervin, and I’m a Licensed Insurance Agent and Customer Service Representative at First Defense Insurance Agency. I specialize in auto and home insurance, and although I became officially licensed in January 2024, I’ve been working in the insurance field since 2022, gaining valuable experience in customer service, insurance support, and administration.

I’m passionate about helping individuals and families protect what matters most. I take pride in explaining coverage clearly, finding competitive rates, and building long-term relationships so every client feels confident, supported, and truly cared for. My goal is always to provide dependable service and make insurance simple and stress-free.

Outside of the office, I’m a proud wife and mom of two boys. Most weekends, you’ll find me at little league games in the mornings, and in the evenings, my husband and I love hosting cookouts with college football playing on the TV. I look forward to helping you with your insurance needs!
